The Township Planning Commission is responsible for guiding long-term land use planning and development within the township. The Commission reviews planning initiatives, development proposals, and policy recommendations to help ensure growth aligns with community goals, zoning regulations, and applicable laws.

Members serve designated terms and hold public meetings to review site plans, planning updates, and development matters while providing recommendations to township leadership. Through careful planning, public engagement, and thoughtful oversight, the Planning Commission helps promote orderly growth, protect community character, and support the township’s future development.

The Planning Commission meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30PM. Meetings are held the the Township Hall: 8138 Heights Ravenna Road, Ravenna, MI 49451.
